Who will decode it?
A cryptic, two-minute video featuring a cloaked figure and flashing codes and symbols is sweeping the web as internet sleuths work in a frenzy to crack what some fear is an ominous warning of something more to come.
A Reddit user has posted visuals of what they say appeared when the video’s sound spectrum was fed into a spectrograph.
An angry human skull is seen in one image compiled by the sound waves. Another image appears to read: “You are already dead.”
“But the sickest part is that when decoding images from the sound, disturbing images were uncovered,” describes Gadgetzz. “Basically what looks like women being tortured, or something…” they described.

After extensive analysis, researchers have concluded that the illegible quality of the video obscures vital information required to solve the so-called “4×6” ciphertext.
Multiple attempts have been made to extract the complete ciphertext and methods for identifying a partial match have been exhausted – It appears the creator may have inadvertently sabotaged one of the final unsolved messages.
Attention has begun to wane as decoded messages have contained only vaguely threatening statements and provide no additional leads.

Overlooking the previous post by /u/M4nic_H3dgehog, I broke the video into individual frames for analysis.
Perhaps, if nothing else, this post may provide a more verbose rundown of what has been found.

The video was posted to YouTube by user ‘Parker Wright‘ on Sep 30, 2015 with the description “Are you listening?”
- User /u/deisidiamonia decoded the Base64 text seen on the disk to read “11B-X-1371” – the title of the video.
The video was also posted to YouTube by user ‘aetbx‘ on May 9, 2015.
- There seems to be question as to aetbx’s involvement. User /u/zesterer caught a deleted post in which/u/godscream names Parker Wright as the creator of this student project. Parker Wright has denied any involvement in the video.
The filming location has been determined to be ZofiĆ³wka Sanatorium in Otwock, Poland. Photos fromvarious unrelated sources show the specific area before (2013) and after (2015) the filming.
M4nic_H3dgehog extracted the audio from the video files contained on the DVD and analyzed them using aspectrogram.
- VIDEO_TS.VOB contained an image of a skull along with two ciphertexts; 16 sets of digits and a sequence of Wingdings 2 characters.
- User /u/random_sandwich first decoded the Wingdings 2 text to some further encoded text.
- User /u/Aliceable then provided a typed version of the Wingdings 2 font and decoded the text; yielding a slightly different result.
- VTS_01_1.VOB contained various disturbing images sourced from various movies and crime scene photos.
What sounds like a voice repeating “5 o’clock” and “we are the antivirus” can be heard hidden in the audio track.

Through the combined effort of various IRC users, the modulated signal previously mentioned by /u/thwilhas been decoded to read: “We are the antivirus”

- It’s been noted that the interpretation of a single character (46 = F, 4b = K) leads to the anagram “KILLTHEPRESIDENT“

It’s been argued that ‘ani’ is an error – “13 and 50, will burn.“, a possible reference to the United States.
