Woman testifies to gruesome murder of her cousin

Candie Dominguez took the stand in a murder trial and calmly testified about how she gruesomely cut up the body of her cousin after her boyfriend killed him.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas (KSAT) – Candie Dominguez took the stand in a murder trial and calmly testified about how she gruesomely cut up the body of her cousin after her boyfriend killed him.

She then recounted cooking his body on a barbecue grill.

After her cousin was beaten to death by her boyfriend, Daniel Lopez, and Gabriel Moreno, the man on trial, 39-year old Candie Domingez said she took over.

Candie Dominguez, facing murder charges: “I cut it up in pieces.”

She’s talking about the body of her cousin 35-year old Jose Luis Menchaca. The body was taken from her home where the attack occurred to a small shed in her backyard.

On orders from Lopez, she testified, she dismembered his body and burned his limbs on a backyard barbecue grill.

Candie Dominguez, facing murder charges: “It took a while because we weren’t on it, like doing other things. Like maybe 2 days.”
