So long Google+

Well what to say? First of with some real tears I say good by to G+ / Google+ and all of those we have liked, followed and communicated with and of course our followers and those that likes us over the years.

So sad to see G+ go. I i know it was not working out, I doubt it really ever made a real difference in the websites visits, but there was some real community here. It will be odd to not hit the G+ plus share button any longer. It is a reflex action for me in sharing our websites blog posts.

I was one of the original Gmail users and I remember having 100 invites to give to people to get the very first gmail beta accounts. I have been using Google offerings for that longs and have been here since the beginning. It was nice to be part of this history to a certain extent.

Thanks for not trolling me to the brink of insanity and above all thanks for following, sharing and G+ ‘ing us.

I am going to share a farewell message I sent to a very loyal follower. It is from my heart and I mean this for most no matter how much you shared or liked.

You have no idea how many times I would come to plus to see you where the lone 1+ came from you and how it gave me a lift knowing at least 1 person was reached and acknowledged us.
