The plane was heading from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to St. Petersburg, Russia. The video was released on November 3 and is titled āDowning of the Russian Plane: Revenge for Our People in Bilad al-Sham.ā Bilad al-Sham is a historical term referring to Damascus but is also occasionally used to refer to Syria as a whole.
