Arkansas, Iowa, Ohio, Georgia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Louisiana, and Mississippi will not allow refugees! Joins Texas, Michigan and Alabama
A growing number of states are refusing to take in Syrian refugees amid heightened security concerns following Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
Michigan and Alabama were the first states in the country to refuse relocating Syrian refugees on Sunday, and they have now been joined by Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, Illinois and Massachusetts.
Govs. Rick Snyder of Michigan, Robert Bentley of Alabama, Greg Abbott of Texas, and Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas said in separate statements Sunday and today that their states would not be relocating refugees from the war-torn country until the U.S. Department of Homeland Security fully reviewed its screening procedures.
“Michigan is a welcoming state and we are proud of our rich history of immigration,” Snyder said. “But our first priority is protecting the safety of our residents.”

McCrory asks federal government to not send Syrian refugees to NC
announced on Monday that he is asking the federal government to not send Syrian refugees to North Carolina following the attacks in Paris, France.
Eight other states announced Monday that they will be banning Syrian refugees. They include Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Florida and Texas.

The USA and Now Europe are doing what the peoples in the region have done and that is to refuse Syrian refugees into their lands to make settlements.
Amnesty International’s Head of Refugee and Migrants’ Rights, Sherif Elsayid-Ali, described their inaction as ‘shameful’.
He said: ‘The records of Gulf countries is absolutely appalling, in terms of actually showing compassion and sharing the responsibility of this crisis… It is a disgrace.’

Almost 50,000 asylum-seekers reached Greece in July alone.
But the wealthiest Muslim nations – Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Oman and Kuwait have accepted NO SYRIAN REFUGEES!
** The wealthiest Gulf nations argue that accepting large numbers of Syrian refugees is a serious threat to the safety of its citizens because terrorists could hide themselves among civilians.

As the biggest refugee crisis since World War Two draws attention to the actions of European leaders, we forget how little Syria’s Arab neighbours are doing to ease the hardships facing the displaced.
Amnesty International reports that “from Asia to Europe, large wealthy countries have turned their backs on Syrian refugees. All six Gulf countries, Russia and Japan have not offered to resettle a single refugee”.
Despite their proximity to the war-stricken state, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain have not offered any resettlement places.
Saudi Arabia and the other Arab states along the Persian Gulf are not only close to Syria, but are very wealthy.
