Man claims to have found “dead mermaid” on beach
Photograph purportedly taken at Great Yarmouth which has been shared 15,000 times on the social media website in two days.
In his post he wrote: “Today at Great Yarmouth we found what looks like a dead Mermaid washed up on the beach.”
Facebook users have been excited and horrified in equal numbers.
A popular suggestion is that it is the body of a seal which has washed up on the shore.
