Highlights from our past fiscal year
While our core responsibility has always been to manage the .CA domain on behalf of all Canadians, CIRA is so much more. Between April 1, 2018 and March 31st of this fiscal year (FY19), our team managed to:
- Protect more users than ever against cyberattack through our D-Zone products.
- Increase the reach of our Community Investment Program, which has donated $5.45 million to organizations across Canada at the close of FY19.
- Support the first-ever Canadian Internet Governance Forum (CIGF) in Toronto.
- Support new Internet Exchange Points. There are now nine running across the country.
- Register more .CA domains than ever, with over 2.8 million under management.
