Ex-CIA director wants Snowden ‘hanged by the neck’ as tougher security measures proposed

~Q~ / II-Neutron: This next article from RT and the CNN video clip reveals Woolsey and him towing the party line with the same old rhetoric.

What I also found interesting and well worth bringing up propaganda or not, is how they tried to contain the internet but legislation was in the way, and they have the best cyber security people in the world but are only able to secure the agencies networks (I mean the CIA and every covert group controlled by them whether it is public knowledge or not) but unable to lock down the US military’s networks. Sounds to me by Woolsey’s frustration and pointing it out showed a power struggle within the Military Industrial Complex. Don’t just let the  Snowden Hanging remark blind you to the rest of the interview clip.  There is more to it that just the headline.

“An ex-CIA director claims Edward Snowden should face the death penalty because he has French “blood on his hands.” Some experts, however, cast doubt on that claim, with one saying the Paris attacks are being used as a “good crisis” by those in power.

Ex-CIA chief: Blood of French people on Snowden’s hands

The exact means of communication the terrorists used to organize the Paris attacks that killed 132 people on Friday remains unknown. Despite this, prominent current and former US intelligence officials are calling for back-door access to encrypted devices, and in one case, trap-door access for Edward Snowden.

“It’s still a capital crime, and I would give him the death sentence, and I would prefer to see him hanged by the neck until he’s dead, rather than merely electrocuted,” former CIA director R. James Woolsey said, referring to Snowden as a “traitor” in an interview with CNN Thursday ….” rt.com
