In his first interview since the Iran plane tragedy, prime minister Justin Trudeau sits down with Global Nationalā€™s Dawna Friesen to discuss whoā€™s to blame for the downing of flight 752, how the victims would still be alive had it not been for an escalation of tensions in Iran, Canadaā€™s role in the investigation, and the emotional toll this tragedy has had on him and the countless friends and family members of the victims.

Trudeau also addressed some key governmental energy projects including the Coastal GasLink pipeline and Teck Frontier oilsands project.

Also, responding to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to no longer be “senior Royals” Trudeau said their decision to become part-time residents of Canada will mean Canada has “some role” to play when it comes to providing protection for the Duke and Duchess in their new position.
