What I think is going on here is a lack of transparency with Trudeau’s government coupled with an absent understanding of the law, and what the rules are and the scope of any given Canadian ministers ability to “act”. This is not Trudeau’s administrations doing, it is the decided lack of civics with in Canada’s population. It is, it seems made to be this way, perhaps if to many we awoken to certain maxims it would not server certain “powers that be” interests, but I digress.
We have treaties, covenants and binding “legal” agreements and domestic policies / statues to keep in mind. It is a wide breadth of the above legal “wranglings” that Canada and any given PM have to observe and adhere to. This is not to give Justin Trudeau as his role The Prime Minister of Canada my endorsement.
It is sad that in a country held up as a free and just society would fail to make it clear the legal fiction and personhood of the state granted / created person, in specific for this topic the citizenship, the a person and the security there of (security of the person). This is a simple basic, foundational precept that “Canadians” are recognized legally.
Now on to the show….
Approximately 100 Canadians joined the Isis Fighters with 60 already brought back with the remaining 40 still waiting.
As for rehabilitation none are forced to acceptance in any programs as is a volunteer program.As one Canadian Isis fighter states if Canada does not accept the return of his comrades, they may retaliate.
Even with the admittance of killing innocent people, the Liberal government refuses to press charges.
