People often wonder what would happen if they ever were to catch someone intentionally harming their child since our protective instincts often take over and cancel out reason and logic in such situations. When a man caught his child’s babysitter doing the unthinkable as she mercilessly beat his child, he showed us what would likely happen with any of us in the same situation and didn’t hesitate to ensure she would never be able to hurt a child again.
Yesterday, we reported on a video that was uploaded to the Internet of a nanny who mercilessly beat the child that was in her care. As it turns out, the child had been feeling ill prior to that and had little control over her actions.
The nanny, who has since been identified as 22-year-old Jolly Tumuhiirwe by the Sahara Reporter, viciously assaulted 2-year-old Aneela because she was frustrated with having to deal with a sick child. Fortunately, the child’s father, Erick Kamanzi, had a hidden camera set up in his home because Tumuhiirwe had only been employed by the family for three months prior.
After noticing bruises on little Aneela’s body when he returned home, Kamanzi reviewed the video taken in his home and made a horrific discovery.
Seeing what Tumuhiirwe did to his daughter enraged Kamanzi, and he took immediate action against her. Once she was in his grip, Kamanzi beat the evil woman within inches of her life, then went to ensure his child was okay.
When police found out about Kamanzi’s assault on the nanny, they raided his home, and he confessed. But after they watched the video of what the nanny did to the man’s daughter, they dropped the charges and set him free, according to the African Spotlight.
Tumuhiirwe is now confined to a wheelchair and has to eat from a tube. She also faces child abuse charges in relation to the beating she gave Aneela, but authorities are going to review the case and may upgrade them to attempted murder.
