Campaigners grill candidate on the ‘white problem of violence’ and accuse her of ‘victim blaming’
Members of Massachusetts chapters of the Black Lives Matter movement met with Hillary Clinton after a presidential campaign event on August 11
The activists questioned Clinton’s call for ending mass incarceration
In the 1990s she called for more prisons and stronger prison sentences
They also accused Clinton of victim blaming and claimed that there always been a ‘white problem of violence’
Clinton said the only way to affect change is through policies and systematic change The activists said that they don’t find answers to their questions sufficient
