BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:05 A.M.) – Israel has fired several missiles into western Syria tonight, targeting several sites near the Iranian base in the Kesweh area, a source told Al-Masdar News.
According to the military source, at least one Israeli missile struck its intended target, while the rest were intercepted by Syrian anti-aircraft missiles (SAM).
Another missile was just fired by the Syrian Air Defense at approximately 1:10 A.M. (Damascus Time).
One of Iran’s largest military bases in Syria is located in western Damascus; however, it has never been targeted by the Israeli forces.
