QUEBEC CITY – A judge lifted the publication ban on surveillance footage that capture moments from three Quebec inmates’ daring helicopter jailbreak.
Yves Denis, 35, Denis Lefebvre, 53, and Serge Pomerleau, escaped the Orsainville jail near Quebec City on June 7 and were re-arrested later that month.
The footage from two jail cameras was shown in court last week as part of the trio’s sentencing hearing.
One camera shows the trio walking around the jail’s courtyard, chatting amongst each other while the other inmates run, train and play sports. MORE AT SOURCE
