Planned Parenthood Votes has launched a campaign to flip the senate and defeat President Donald Trump in 2020 — and say they will spend AT LEAST $45 million on it.
The Super PAC branch of the controversial organization focuses on abortion policy and supporting pro-abortion laws
The campaign will be aimed at funding “large-scale grassroots” movements as well as media and mailers to support pro-abortion candidates in local, state and national races. Specifically, they plan to target Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
“Next November, our very rights and freedoms will be on the ballot,” Kelley Robinson, executive director of Planned Parenthood Votes, told The Hill. “Already, we’ve seen Trump and his buddies in Congress and state legislatures do everything they can to strip us of our rights and access to health care.”
