Sorry folks. Seems that some recent posts on the site may have upset some one or group/s and we had a minor hack that had the server offline overnight for some time.
The source of the hack appears to have come from within the country of Turkey. Many IP’s from Turkey routinely port sniff and try daily (sometimes thousands of attempts) to break into the linux server with brute force attacks.
The root cause of this attack / hijack has been fixed… I am in part responsible for the issue due to a momentary lessening of security (details are with held for security sake) to allow a third party vendor do some trouble shooting on some code I contract with them for.
I am going to investigate and see if they are not some how responsible for leaking certain information or if some one within their ranks pulled off this hijack.
My network (based in the USA) shut the server down some time in the early morning hours as it was being used to try to attack other servers all around the world. They have worked with me to mitigate any problems and to keep the IP address/s that we use clean and off any black lists by their quick and decisive monitoring and action.
Sorry for the down time.
Many thanks to you all for visiting the site and sharing us with others.
