The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council (CBSC) is no longer accepting complaints concerning comments made about hockey players by host Jess Allen on CTV’s The Social. Jess was responding to comments made by Don Cherry about wearing poppies to honour the troops when she had her own “you people” moment by calling out the “white boys” in hockey who are “that type” referring to her comments on Cherry being a bigot!
