Today we’re thrilled to show you the winning design for the NSS Enterprise…a REAL spaceship that we’ll be building and sending to orbit!
The NSS Enterprise–an 8-foot, functioning, unmanned spacecraft– will be sent to space via a commercial launch vehicle. She’ll even have working propulsion, avionics, and a heat protection for re-entry. The winning design is by Stanley Von Medvey, a concept artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. http://enterpriseinspace.org/winner/
