The Truckers Nationwide Shutdown appears to be having an effect and the Trudeau Government may have a problem on it’s hands.
The BMO announced this week that their Stimulus Spending plan of 140 billion may have to be cut short and now the Bank of Canada is having liquidity issues. This is a sign the truckers shutdown is working. The continuing protest initiated a small bank run earlier this week as some truckers bank accounts were seized. Others began to take up the torch and do the same. The protests strength continues to grow and the Bank of Canada is feeling the pinch. Many truckers have parked their rigs in defiance of Trudeau’s heavy handed tactics. They advise all Canadians to take part in the strike, recommending you take money out of the banks and curtail spending until Trudeau’s government capitulates. They want amnesty for Truckers, their rigs returned, bank accounts and money that was stolen from them returned. They still demand that all vaccine mandates be dropped as well as the planned roll out of vaccine passports.

Trudeau revoked the emergency act but its a small victory. The mandates are still in place and there are plans for a Covid passport coming. Now is not the time to celebrate. We need very much to keep the pressure on.
