There are enough children here in BC living below the povertyline and some not just below it but not even on the radar that it could fill all of BC Place Stadium and have a line that would stretch to Stanley Park…
In a free and democratic society how could this not be broadcast on the main stream media?
God Bless Canada. At least nothing worthy of the “news” happed as per the negative. It was peaceable, civil, and generally in keeping with what it is to be Canadian. I should know, and I do.
In what is North America’s most livable and for many, most desirable places to live and thus any where on earth the walk closed off several blocks and main intersections inside the city proper of Vancouver.
I spoke with one officer he was on a 1200cc Harley doing traffic control. Not one sniper in sight if there where any at all. Not ground troops or amour or helicopter cover, the the lack of helicoppers include news teams to cover this Walk. Seems like the life in the Best City in North America is not worth looking at. AT least Three Vancouverites rolled thier eye and muttered under thier breath about thier “annoyance with this “annoyance”. In the upcoming picture serious you can see a child and for lack of a more subtle word cripples taking a walk.
In the last eight years in one of the crown jewels of the North American continent and places on Gods green earth (and if you know Vancouver the green here is in deed heavenly) the “cost of living has gone up dramatically conversely and as dramatic has been a freeze on living amounts via the provincial ministry. “Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation” AKA Welfare programs and services.
We filmed the Walk. Glad we captured the record for it. The other camera man at the event as can be seen in the video was filming as part of a United Church project. I got to say Hi, amen, praise the Lord, and say God bless. Despite my faith based commentary here in the text please do share the links and Videos, it is raw and with out a commentary.
Note in the video I now think it was the Korean Consulate as the vehicle was the flag ship KIA, but who knows for sure, One could run the plate. The supposed delegates in the car where Asian in appearance, and could well have been a diplomatic mission from any number of asia pacific embassies her in #Vancouver #BritishColumbia #Canada
