A man in east China who had been earning money through posting videos of dog abuse online has been publicly named and shamed.
The man, identified as 30-year-old Qiu Hengqing, had been setting up live-streams of the outrageous acts including tasering the dogs, chucking them in a freezer and force-feeding them wasabi and alcohol, according to Chinese reports.
Animal rights activists in Qingzhou city, Shandong province formed a volunteer group and successfully rescued the three toy poodles after tracking down the man.
