A woman who had been blind since she was 11 miraculously saw her sight returnafter banging her head on a coffee table.
Lisa Reid lost her sight as a child as a result of a tumour pressing down on her optic nerve.
But that all changed when she knelt down to kiss her guide dog Ami goodnight and hit her head on a coffee table.
She woke up the following morning to discover that she could she see again.
“I can’t really find words to describe how it felt – amazing, fantastic,” she told Daily Mail Australia .
“You can imagine not being able to see and then you can, you can’t really describe that.
“To see the world again visually is a gift,” she added.
